Subject Matter

Articles that fit into one of our existing categories are always welcome, as long as they provide a unique and balanced perspective. Articles in new categories appropriate to our website are especially welcome, since we are so new. Please try to focus your article on a specific area that you can cover in depth. If we don't learn anything in your article, we don't need it here. We prefer articles to be 1000 words or more. If you wish to provide a "review" such as "a review of blogging host sites", reviews must be objective and sites or products affiliated with you should total no more than 20% of the review. We will be the final judge of your objectivity.

Technical

• 1000 - 1500 words or more
• Please write about what you know. No generic or "fluff" articles will be accepted.
• If article appears in other places, please give complete bibliography
• If article quotes others, please provide complete citations..
• All articles subject to approval. No guarantee is made that any article will be published, or will remain on the site.
• Only one affiliate link is permitted per article
• All articles subject to editing.
• You must certify that the article is original, and you are the copyright owner of the article.

Compensation

• We prefer unpaid submissions, but will consider paying small amounts at this time.
• Unpaid articles get a short bio attached to the article, along with a link to your website.
• Backlinks to us (at least to your article) are strongly suggested.
• If you have three or more articles accepted here, we will provide you with a posiiton in our side banner ad rotation that appears on every page.

Submission Process

• Please submit a one paragraph summary of your proposed article before writing it. Submit proposal to bob @ work-at-home-business-school.com
• Sample articles should also be submitted (as URL links if published). If you wish to submit a previously written article for our consideration, you may submit it as a URL link or in text or html format..
• If you wish to be paid, please submit a proposed fee structure with the article proposal. Any article proposals submitted without mention of compensation are assumed to be submitted on an unpaid or free basis.
• Articles should be submitted in HTML format, utlizing only the following tags
  • [p] [br]
  • [h2][h3][h4] (We use [h1 align=center] for the article title)
  • [b] [i] [em]
  • [ol] [ul] and [li]
  • Simple table formatting, with no colors or unusual formatting 
  • Linking, such as [a] should be used with the [target="_blank"] option.
  • Images should be appropriately sized.
  • Any other desired formatting should be discussed prior to article submission.
• Allow one week for approval process and one week for publication.
• If you wish to retain a copyright on the article, notice should be included at the bottom of every submission.
